Welcome to our District 9680 Rotary Club website in Australia.  

The Rotary Club of Ourimbah is located on the Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia. We are about one hours drive north of Sydney, Australia along the eastern coast of Australia.  The local shires include Gosford City Council and Wyong Shire Council which make up the Central Coast, Australia.  We are one of the 14 Rotary Clubs on the Central Coast, part of another 67 Clubs in Rotary District 9680.  You would find us through Rotary Australia and Rotarnet Australia.  (Rotarnet is used to find Rotary Clubs in Australia).

Our Rotary club has a lot in common with other Rotary Clubs in Australia.  Rotary Australia has a couple of differences although you would find that we proceed here in Rotary Australia much as Rotary does in other countries Internationally.

We are happily placing Service Above Self to help the community both locally in Ourimbah ... Gosford & Wyong Councils ... New South Wales ... Australia ... and Internationally throughout the world proudly though our Rotary projects, Rotary in Australia and through our Club in Ourimbah (Rotary Club of Ourimbah Inc).

If you are visiting our award winning site, from outside of Australia, you might notice we have an additional Avenue of Service ... Youth Service.  Our Rotary Club of Ourimbah and Rotary District 9680 is very active in this area recognising youth as our future whilst not forgetting our mature community who we dedicate attention though other Avenues of Service.  We are very excited to have chartered a PROBUS club who at present have over 60 members with a waiting list to join.  New members are being inducted regularly. 

Our Rotary Club of Ourimbah was chartered 5^th February 1997 and have been extremely active in the community especially in Ourimbah.  We have a strong relationship with our local University in Ourimbah and businesses who operate in Ourimbah and surrounding townships and suburbs of the Gosford and Wyong Councils.

Our Rotary Club is one of 67 Rotary Clubs In Rotary International Rotary District 9680.  We are located on the border of two council areas (Gosford and Wyong) on the Central Coast in Ourimbah.  We meet at the Niagara Park community centre, a neighbouring suburb to Ourimbah, on Wednesday evenings over dinner. 

The two council areas are Gosford ( Gosford City Council ) & Wyong ( Wyong Shire Council ).  Both Gosford and Wyong councils support our club and have been a huge help in recent times with major projects carried out in both the Gosford and Wyong area.

We are a very active community group in Ourimbah.  We would like to thank all the local community and volunteer groups both in Ourimbah and surrounding areas on the Central Coast both in Gosford and Wyong Shires for their hard work and dedication to Australians in Australia and people Internationally throughout the World.
